Working with Kylie from Celestial Soul Reiki was a rewarding experience. We collaborated over multiple sessions to uncover her brand’s identity, define her target audience, and refine the aesthetic she envisioned. Through this iterative process — guided by feedback and thoughtful adjustments — we crafted a beautiful, cohesive website that authentically represents her business and helps her connect with her clients.
In our initial meeting, we discussed color themes, website content, the services she wanted to promote, and the logistics of how everything should function. The process was smooth, easy, and enjoyable. Being able to present my work while talking it through with Kylie made the experience engaging and collaborative, ensuring the final design aligned with her vision.
One of the first steps I took was gathering all the information from our initial meeting and creating some sketches and a flow guide to visualize how everything would link together and flow. This gave me a clear understanding of which pages were needed, where they should go, and why. The map also helped identify any gaps or missing key information, allowing us to adjust the plan early on for a smoother, more complete user experience.
Once I had a solid idea of the design direction, I dove straight into sketching. I created high-quality sketches to visually convey my ideas and concepts. This process helped me better understand the vision we were aiming for and identify what worked and what didn’t. These sketches were invaluable when transitioning to the final product design in Showit, ensuring a smoother, more intentional build.
I updated several images from the first website prototype, swapping them for more engaging, visually appealing alternatives. This change helped create a stronger, more inviting first impression while ensuring the visuals aligned with the brand’s overall aesthetic and message.
I revised some of the wording and information on the website to ensure everything was accurate, clear, and engaging to read. This helped improve the overall flow and made the content more compelling while staying true to the brand’s voice.
Finally, the website was complete. I sent it to my client for a final review, making any last-minute adjustments before publishing it live. It was an exciting moment to see the site officially launched and accessible to the public — a rewarding end to a collaborative, creative process.
As part of my package, once the website was completed and published, I created an Instagram post to highlight the website’s launch. The post was designed to be both engaging and informative, incorporating the same color scheme and visual style from the website to maintain a cohesive brand identity across platforms.
"Kara created a website for me to enhance the passion I have for my business, she communicated constantly with me throughout the process to ensure that I was happy with the design."
